Will Online Video Ever Totally Replace Meeting Face To Face?

While I love video and think it can be very important for all types of marketing, I don’t think it does or will replace in person sales calls. Even if it does, I would still recommend meeting with clients at least occasionally throughout the year. Online and video is great, but I think to really connect and build a bond it's best to meet face to face. I do use video in my one of businesses to educate potential clients as to what they can expect when they hire me. Giving future clients a look at your processes and services is just one use of video. Video can be used throughout the customer acquisition lifecycle. This can range from before the sale education as well as during the time you are working with a client, and after the assignment is finished. http://youtu.be/uCHksLUBZWc Andrew Ledford Southern California Community Television And Social Media For help with your video, online content, social media, and community management Call me at 562-423-1691

Better LinkedIn Relationships by Prioritizing Video

This video goes over using a service called Nimble, but the video does mention that the same thing can be done without using a third party software solution. This means it can be done directly through the LinkedIn interface. I think I am grandfathered into the Nimble service, however I have not used it for a long time. Seeing this presentation makes me think about trying to remember my old Nimble password and using it again. http://youtu.be/P1fTlC9aNbw Andrew Ledford Southern California Community Television And Social Media For help with your video, online content, social media, and community management Call me at 562-423-1691

Video editing tools

I don’t use all of these tools and I use different editing software. However, I thought this video was informative. I do like the selection of software he uses. I use many of these same tools and there are a few I might like to try. http://youtu.be/1VEDhHa5uVE I usually don't watch videos with the over produced custom thumbnails that look to promotional. But This video is good. I will watch bad videos so you don't have to. Since I have started this site, which was just a few days ago, I have watched a lot of bad videos.  Those are the videos that never make it onto the site. I am curating only quality content that readers will find informative and useful.
